Washington Business Week: A Hands-On Business Education Program for High School Students

Washington Business Week is a hands-on business www.inovavox.com education program for high school students that provides them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the 21st century workforce. The program is designed to be engaging and interactive, and it gives students the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, launch their own businesses, and solve real-world challenges.

In 2023, Washington Business Week will offer three different programs:

  • A 5-day virtual summer camp for students interested in business, telehealth, or clean energy
  • A 6-day in-person overnight camp at the University of Puget Sound for students interested in business, advanced business, or clean energy
  • A 5-day in-person day camp at Renton Technical College for students interested in business, advanced business, or telehealth/healthcare

No matter which program they choose, all Washington Business Week students will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the fundamentals of business, including marketing, finance, and operations
  • Work on real-world projects with industry professionals
  • Develop their communication and presentation skills
  • Build a network of professional contacts
  • Gain hands-on experience in launching and running a business

In addition to the educational benefits, Washington Business Week also offers students the opportunity to have fun and make new friends. The program is designed to be a positive and supportive environment where students can learn and grow.
